Chancellor Merkel pays a Visit to Paravan at the IAA
As part of the official opening tour of the 67th International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, Chancellor Dr Angela Merkel took the time to find out about the latest developments by Paravan, the innovative Swabian company from Pfronstetten-Aichelau. The time was right at 26 minutes past midday: Roland Arnold, founder and manager of Paravan GmbH, welcomed prominent visitors to the Paravan stand in Hall 3.1 of this year's International Motor Show in the form of Chancellor Dr Angela Merkel, the Hessian Minister President Volker Bouffier, Federal Minister for Transport Alexander Dobrindt and VDA President Matthias Wissmann. A great honour for the small, innovative company based in the middle of the Swabian Alps.
It is the only the second time that Paravan and its ultra-modern mobility solutions pertaining to the fail-safe, digital driving and steering system Space Drive is being presented as part of the New Mobility World special show at the influential motor show in Frankfurt.
It is with interest that Chancellor Merkel followed the demonstrations of the latest development from the Paravan company, performed by Paravan founder Roland Arnold himself.
In the form of CLOUi, the company is now offering the world’s first inclusive mobility concept.
At the same time, it is the first vehicle produced by Paravan itself. To this end, the company concentrated its competences and experiences, from the construction of the car body right through to the sensors. The CLOUi is a completely new vehicle concept in the field of New Mobility. It unites the mega-trends currently featuring in the industry: e-Mobility, connectivity and autonomous driving.
“Naturally, such a development comes from the Swabian Alps,” commented the Chancellor approvingly at the end of her visit, with a smile.
