Space Drive is a system that is unrivalled in the world – a real breakthrough. It allows persons with low residual strength, a large girth, minimum movement capabilities and even those without limbs to safely drive a car. With Space Drive, you activate the brake, accelerator, and steering wheel (and of course all the other functions) using driving aids controlled by microprocessors. These transmit the signals in nanoseconds to two servo motors for the brake and accelerator and two others for the steering ("Drive by Wire"). We configure the single modules individually. We readjust the software and hardware on-site if your clinical picture changes.

- In the festive atmosphere of Frankfurt Congress Centre PARAVAN Managing Director Roland Arnold was presented with the Innovation Prize of German Industry by the Federal Minister of Research and Education, Annette Schavan PhD. The compère was Cherno Jobatey, the well-known and very popular radio and TV presenter.
- Nobel Prize winner, Professor Klaus von Klitzing and the first West European ASTRONAUT in space, Ulf Merbold PhD, congratulated Roland Arnold and Andreas Frisch from PARAVAN: in their capacity as members of the jury they checked the SPACE DRIVE thoroughly and with enthusiasm, making it the winner by unanimous vote.
REMOTE CONTROL
Space Drive has now been further developed in a visionary way to provide you with remote control of your car. The following scenario is now a reality – you fetch your car that is parked far away from you by remote control with GPS (Global Positioning System) or WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) control. This technology has already successfully completed the EU certification procedure.

JOYSTICK
The ingenious all-rounder for "driving with finesse". Three functional versions:
• Steering (2-way system)
• Accelerating and braking (2-way system)
• Steering, accelerating and braking (4-way system)
Individual parameter settings using a computer according to your needs and level of disability. Available with adapted arm support.
MINI STEERING WHEEL
Full control and simple to use. For persons who are no longer able to turn a normal driving wheel. The mini steering wheel is only 15 cm in size, ergonomically and attractively designed. It is accurate and reliable, contains redundancy (double protection) and can be positioned anywhere. Optionally available with touch sensors supplied for automatic transmission, and with adapted arm support if required.
THROTTLE-BRAKE CONTROLLER
[Smooth electronic slide controls combined with the mini steering wheel ensure pure driving pleasure. Responds in nanoseconds (over 1,000 impulses/cm) and is absolutely reliable with double protection. The controller can be mounted for left-hand or right-hand operation, while the level of strength necessary to operate it is individually set. It can be supplied with an adapted arm support.
CAR CONTROL
A intelligent keypad in different designs for operating all secondary functions, such as – indicators, horn, hazard lights, dipped /head lights, headlight flasher, front/rear wipers, periodic and fast wiping.
